Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to lead security engineering across global IT initiatives and ensure best-practice controls are implemented. You will design, test, and deploy security solutions while aligning with business needs.

You will lead incident detection and response as part of CSIRT, stay ahead of threats, and drive vulnerability management and risk assessments across ERP and IT environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS preferred but not required.
• Experience with security operations across global IT environments.
• Background in DFIR, incident response, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide security engineering across global IT projects and implement best-practice controls.
• Research threats, patches, and alerts; implement remedial actions.
• Design and evaluate security technologies; build business cases for investments.
• Review policies and standards; update as needed.
• Respond to major incidents as CSIRT member and coordinate IR plans.
• Monitor threats and events; educate stakeholders and support incident resolution.
