Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Strategic Project Manager (Global) to lead complex programs across multiple sites. The role emphasizes aligning project scope with strategic objectives, stakeholder collaboration, and effective use of project management methodologies to deliver health care improvements globally. The candidate should have 7+ years of PM experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and be able to work during U.S.

business hours. PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of project management experience.
Proven ability to manage client engagements of moderate complexity and scope.
Must be available to work during U.S. business hours (full overlap).

Responsibilities

Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer.
Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders.
Identify project duration, effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives.
Develop/contribute to project budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders.
Apply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project communication plans.
