Job summary

Instructure is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our global Finance team and support IFRS financial reporting for international entities. You will own IFRS financial statement preparation and assist in annual statutory audits.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and collaborating across time zones to ensure accurate financial data and compliance in the Philippines and other jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license (Philippines) strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally multinational/shared-service.
• Working knowledge of IFRS; experience preparing IFRS statements is required.
• Experience with statutory audit support or coordination is an advantage.
• Proficient in NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements for international entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.
• Assist month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger across subsidiaries and multiple currencies.
• Prepare working papers and schedules for financial reporting packages.
• Support consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory filings in the Philippines and other jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with global teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to accounting policy documentation and process improvement.
