AP Renewables Inc. in Calauan, Laguna is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join the Reliability Centered Maintenance team. You will collaborate with the Electrical, RCM, and Production teams to maintain and improve plant equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 2 years of relevant experience in geothermal, thermal, industrial, or similar settings; R.E. license required.
• Experience in electrical systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and protective relaying.
• Strong planning, asset management, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Delivery: supervise overhaul, upgrade, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Testing and Commissioning: perform tests to verify equipment and maintenance quality.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: diagnose and resolve electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Resource Management: allocate manpower, materials, tools, and inventory for maintenance tasks.
• Maintenance Planning: define scope, resources, and safety for maintenance work.
• Maintenance Scheduling: create detailed schedules aligned with plant priorities.
• Documentation and Reports: consolidate and review maintenance documentation and results.
• Maintenance Strategy: apply RCM tools to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• SHE Compliance: enforce safety and environmental policies within the electrical team.
• Risk Management: conduct TRA and promote a safe work environment.
• Budget Planning and Allocation: collaborate on annual maintenance budgets and cost estimates.
• Cost Control: perform cost-benefit analyses and IRR assessments for maintenance projects.
• Procurement Execution/Coordination/Monitoring: handle procurement and logistics for maintenance resources.
• Internal/External Communication: coordinate with teams and external contractors.
• Change Management: support process improvements and technology adoption.
• Training and Skill Enhancement: conduct trainings and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Performance evaluations: assist in appraisals and feedback for maintenance staff.
