Job summary

AP Renewables Inc. is seeking a Chemist to monitor geothermal steam purity and cooling water quality at its Calauan, Laguna facility. You will execute water treatment operations, track brine parameters, and manage chemical supplies to safeguard assets and support continuous power generation.

You will collaborate with the Production team, steam providers, treatment vendors, and regulatory offices to meet operational goals while advancing your expertise in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in laboratory maintenance and chemical analysis preferred.
• Experience with water treatment programs and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor geothermal steam purity across generating units to protect turbines and equipment.
• Oversee cooling water quality and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for steam purity and treatment needs.
• Support laboratory testing, data recording, and reporting for operations.
• Inspect and manage chemical deliveries and inventory levels to sustain generation.
