Job Summary
The Geodetic Engineer shall manage the process and operation of the Surveying Department. He/she shall review the correctness and reasonability of the survey data prepared by the outsourced Surveying consultants. In addition to his/her role as Surveying head, he/she shall also process, prepare, and compile VSR–verified survey returns of individual lots and submit these to the concerned government agencies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and direct the work conducted by the outsourced geodetic engineer to establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations submitted by survey consultants, prior to the preparation of site development plans.
- Provide technical consultation as needed by the Legal management group, land acquisition, and other business units.
- Verify the quality of control data to determine the need for survey data in engineering design, construction, and other projects.
- Submit and process compiled geodetic survey data and VRS with government agencies.
- Maintain a database of geodetic and related information.
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Geodetic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in surveying, including consolidation survey, subdivision survey, and topographic survey, particularly in land development and housing construction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in the preparation and filing of VSR (Verified Survey Return).
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Amenable to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig.
