Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an experienced AI Architect to join the Innovative BytePlus Team in the Philippines. You will bridge Generative AI research with enterprise applications, designing AI-native agent solutions and prototyping workflows tailored to client needs.

You’ll implement production-ready AI integrations, optimize performance, and build robust evaluation guardrails for safe, compliant outputs across industries like e-commerce, ads, and entertainment.

Qualifications

Engineering bachelor degree or above.
At least 1 year of AI-native industry experience in architect/forward deployed engineer roles.
Agentic AI design paradigms - Re-Act, Plan and Execute, Multi-Agent, Skills, etc.
AI infra practical knowledge such as GPU selections and model inference acceleration frameworks (vLLM, sglang, etc).
High fluency in oral and written English and Tagalog.

Responsibilities

Bridge AI research on models to real-world industrial applications, solving the last mile problems for enterprise clients.
AI-native agent solution design & prototyping based on client requirements and workflows.
Production-ready integration: write production-quality code to connect AI model APIs in various frameworks with tools like RAG, vector DB, memory systems.
Performance optimization: tackle latency, throughput, and cost while scaling AI features for millions of users.
Evaluation & guardrails: develop frameworks to ensure outputs are safe, accurate, and compliant.
Cross-functional collaboration: work with product and research teams to feed field signals into the roadmap.
