A leading company in the packaging materials industry is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations and drive strategic growth. The successful candidate will manage P&L responsibilities, lead sales initiatives, and ensure operational excellence while developing relationships with key B2B clients. This role requires substantial experience in the industry and strong leadership skills to navigate a small to medium-sized enterprise environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the overall operations of our packaging materials business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, particularly in B2B environments, and will be responsible for driving strategic growth, managing P&L, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage sales and marketing initiatives, particularly within the packaging materials industry.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, including QSRs, restaurants, commissaries, and other institutional clients.
Take full responsibility for Profit & Loss performance, including setting financial targets, forecasting, and budgeting.
Oversee core business functions including Finance, Human Resources, Regulatory Compliance, Product Development, Procurement, and Logistics.
Implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and corporate governance.
Proven experience in sales and marketing within the packaging materials industry (minimum 8–10 years preferred).
Extensive background in B2B client management and key accounts handling, particularly with clients in foodservice or similar sectors.
Demonstrated success in managing full P&L responsibility.
Strong leadership and general management skills, with hands-on experience overseeing multi-functional teams.
Experience managing a small to medium enterprise (SME) with a strategic and operational mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
