The General Manager for Real Estate Operations will lead and oversee the execution, performance, and profitability of specialty real estate projects, including hotel, retail, and residential developments. This role will ensure operational excellence, financial stewardship, strategic alignment, and customer-centric delivery of property and asset management initiatives. The General Manager will serve as a key liaison between development teams, asset owners, partners, and cross-functional departments to drive sustainable growth and operational success.

Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of multiple specialty real estate projects (hotel, retail, residential), ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term operational plans for each asset class, balancing profitability, market relevance, and brand integrity.
  • Ensure timely turnover and operational readiness of completed developments.
  • Lead site and asset operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Financial & Asset Management
  • Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics for all managed assets.
  • Drive revenue optimization and cost efficiencies across all properties.
  • Monitor leasing, occupancy, tenant mix (retail), average daily rate (ADR) and RevPAR (hotel), and homeowner satisfaction (residential).
  • Prepare business reviews and operational reports for senior leadership.
Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team including property managers, leasing teams, and service partners.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, investors, and property owners.
  • Partner with Development, Finance, Marketing, and HR to ensure seamless project transitions and consistent service delivery.
Guest, Tenant & Homeowner Experience
  • Elevate the quality of customer experience across hotels, malls, and residential communities.
  • Implement service standards and operational SOPs tailored to each property type.
  • Lead community engagement and brand-building initiatives in residential developments.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance across projects in line with local, national, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Develop and implement business continuity and risk mitigation protocols.
  • Oversee vendor management and service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, or related field; MBA or similar postgraduate education is a plus.

Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in real estate operations, hospitality, property/asset management, or mixed-use developments.
