Job summary

Potato Corner is hiring a General Ledger Associate in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. The role focuses on journal entries for amortization, depreciation, and accruals, with responsibility for reconciling the general ledger and ensuring entry accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, at least 1 year in accounting, strong Excel and analytical skills, and high attention to detail. ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills preferred.
• ERP experience is an advantage but not required.
• MS Excel proficiency; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for amortization, depreciation, accruals, and related items.
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger and ensure accuracy of entries.

3. Perform ad-hoc reports and management inquiries.
4. Support overall department goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree Graduate in Accounting or Finance or any related course.
2. At least 1 year experience in accounting.
3. Preferably with good analytical skills.
4. ERP experience is an advantage but not necessary.
5. Knowledge & Skill/s: Strong familiarity with MS Excel, Analytical, High level of Integrity, Keen on details and organized.
