Job summary

Vivant Corporation is seeking an accounting professional to manage day-to-day general accounting operations for Vivant Energy Corporation (VEC) entities. You will compile, analyze, and post financial data, process journal entries, and perform GL to SL reconciliations within closing schedules.

The role requires solid knowledge of PFRS and Philippine taxation, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of professional accounting experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine taxation laws.
• Practical knowledge or experience in balance sheet accounts analysis, GL reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the willingness to render flexible working hours during peak closing periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day general accounting operations for assigned Vivant Energy Corporation (VEC) entities by compiling, analyzing, and posting accurate and timely financial transactions.
• Process journal entries, allocations, and period-end adjustments; perform SAP GL to SL reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet analyses and trial balances within closing schedules.
• Coordinate on aged items and assist in external audits; maintain organized financial records.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve account inquiries and uphold accounting compliance.
