Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Tax Laws, BIR eFPS/eBIRForms, and mandatory statutory filings.
• Experience in inventory accounting and sales reconciliation across multiple channels is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and LGU reporting requirements, including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Monitor and reconcile sales from multiple retail channels.
• Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Liaise with external auditors and government agencies during audits.

We're a fast-growing footwear brand, distributing high-quality, eco-conscious, and stylish footwear. We operate across multiple channels, including physical retail stores, department stores, and major e-commerce platforms.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team to ensure accurate financial reporting, full compliance with government requirements, and seamless financial operations tailored to the unique needs of the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance withBIR,SEC, andLGU reporting requirements, including VAT, withholding taxes, and other mandatory filings.
• Prepare and submit monthly BIR returns (e.g., VAT 2550M/Q, 1601E/F, 1701/1702, etc.) and annual reports.

• Retail-Specific Accounting
• Monitor and reconcile sales from multiple retail channels (mall stores, department stores, e-commerce platforms).
• Handle accounting for consignment agreements and commission-based sales with retail partners.
• Track and reconcile inventory costs, COGS, and sales returns to ensure accurate margins reporting.

• General Accounting Functions
• Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Manage payroll computations and ensure statutory compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports in coordination with management.

• Audit & External Coordination
• Liaise with external auditors, BIR examiners, and government agencies during audits and tax examinations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct on-site audits at POS locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred but not mandatory if candidate has strong retail experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Tax Laws, BIR eFPS/eBIRForms, and mandatory statutory filings.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel.
