Role Description
- Oversee and manage the accounting team by delegating work, offering chances for growth and development, and doing performance reviews.
- In charge of overseeing the creation of budgets, reports, and financial statements, making sure they are accurate and compliant with legal and accounting standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures, which encompass financial analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Examine and evaluate financial information to find patterns, outliers, and potential areas of development.
- Create and put into place internal controls, accounting rules, and processes to protect business assets and guarantee adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Work together to support corporate goals and activities with other departments, including finance, operations, and human resources.
- Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and other stakeholders about accounting-related issues.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 – 5 years of accounting supervisor experience.
- Must have an experience in Bookkeeping, General Ledger, AP & AR
- Solid understanding of accounting rules, standards, and principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting applications.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
