Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI with production-grade reality at customer sites. You’ll code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions, addressing data readiness, integration, and state-management challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or CS.
• 2 years of software development experience in Python or similar language.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines for structured/unstructured data (vector DBs, RAG).
• Experience shipping production AI solutions for customers.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications transitioning prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Code/connect Google AI products to live customer infrastructure via APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or requests.
• Co-build with customer engineers to ensure best practices and long-term success.
