Job summary

Thinking Machines Data Science, Inc. is seeking a GenAI Engineer with a passion for Generative AI to work on cutting-edge projects using Large Language Models (LLMs) for innovative conversational AI solutions.

You will tackle prompt engineering, model optimization, and seamless integration with existing systems, building reliable, user-friendly AI applications. You will contribute across the GenAI lifecycle, from brainstorming and prototyping to deploying and monitoring production-ready systems,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine learning or software engineering.
• Passion for GenAI and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Transformers, LangChain).
• Strong foundations in ML principles and algorithms.
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure, AWS) and deploying ML models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-directed, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• LLM integration into solutions with natural language interactions.
• Design and refine prompts to achieve conversational goals.
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for tasks and datasets.
• Process and prepare data for training and fine-tuning LLMs.
• Evaluate LLM performance using appropriate metrics and methodologies.
• Contribute to GenAI MLOps practices, including deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Stay updated on LLMs and GenAI research to adopt cutting-edge techniques.
