Job summary

Thinking Machines is a technology consultancy seeking a GenAI Engineer to build cutting-edge conversational AI solutions using LLMs. You will handle prompt engineering, model optimization, and seamless integration with existing systems.

You will contribute to the full GenAI lifecycle—from brainstorming and prototyping to deploying and monitoring production-ready systems, ensuring high availability and excellent user experiences through API access.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine learning or software engineering work.
• Passion for GenAI and LLMs.
• Strong programming in Python; experience with Transformers and LangChain.
• Cloud computing experience with Azure or AWS; deploying ML models in the cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• LLM Integration: integrate LLMs into solutions with natural language interactions.
• Prompt Engineering: develop and refine prompting strategies.
• Fine-tuning and Optimization: fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for tasks and datasets.
• Data Processing: prepare data for training and fine-tuning LLMs.
• Model Evaluation: assess performance using appropriate metrics.
• MLOps: contribute to deployment, monitoring, and automation for GenAI systems.
• Collaboration: work with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.
• Research and Development: stay updated on GenAI advances and implement cutting-edge techniques.
