Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join the EY GDS Data Engineering Team in the Philippines. The role focuses on building cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using major cloud platforms and data tools.

You will work hands-on with Python, PySpark, SQL and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Qlik, and participate in CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience and a willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Snowflake or Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines to enable data-driven decision making.
• Work with BI tools to deliver insights and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and present solutions.

EY-GDS Consulting – Staff Data Engineer The opportunity We're looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join the EY GDS Data Engineering Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth. At least 1 year of experience in developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using at least 2 of the following: Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Hadoop. Hands-on experience in using any or combination of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableu, Looker, Qlick.

Hands-on experience in using any or combination of Python, Pyspark, Scala, Java script and SQL. Familiar with CI/CD development using devops/Git. Confident to learn new technologies to solve complex technical problems/deliverables in a fast face environment.

Confident on his skills to handle support roles where debugging and strong analytical skills are a must. Good communication and presentation skills in relation to gathering business requirements and solution presentations if needed. What
