Globe Telecom, Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity professional to implement and deploy security capabilities across our infrastructure, emphasizing secure-by-default practices and automation.

You will work with architects and project teams to operationalize baseline security requirements and support compliance through automation, ensuring secure defaults and efficient onboarding of new capabilities. This role requires hands-on tool deployment and cloud experience in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in cybersecurity or systems engineering.
• Hands-on deployment of cybersecurity tools.
• Basic scripting or automation exposure.
• Cloud experience preferred.
• Certifications/Licences: AWS SysOps Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, Terraform Certified.

Responsibilities

• Implement and integrate new cybersecurity tools and configurations.
• Optimize and maintain existing cybersecurity capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure secure defaults.
• Build automation scripts or templates for repetitive security tasks.
• Transition built or optimized capabilities to the assigned SRE Engineer for operationalization.
• KPI % completion of assigned security platform onboarding tasks. Time-to-implement for new security capabilities. % of tasks automated vs. manual.
