Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Gardener or in a similar horticultural role.
• Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs suitable for tropical and subtropical climates.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining standard gardening tools and equipment.
• Physical fitness for demanding outdoor labor.
• Understanding of soil types, composting, and basic plant nutrition.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

About the role

Blue Collar Manpower Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This role is essential to maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces for our clients. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for the cultivation, maintenance, and beautification of gardens and landscaped areas, contributing directly to creating pleasant and well-maintained environments for our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Planting, watering, and nurturing a variety of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees in accordance with landscaping designs and client specifications

• Pruning, trimming, and shaping vegetation to maintain healthy growth and desired aesthetic appearance

• Performing regular weeding, mulching, and soil preparation to ensure optimal growing conditions

• Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment, including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and irrigation systems

• Identifying and treating plant diseases, pests, and other horticultural issues using appropriate methods

• Clearing and removing garden debris, fallen leaves, and unwanted vegetation

• Maintaining garden beds, pathways, and outdoor spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety

• Collaborating with landscape designers and team members to implement garden plans and improvements

• Monitoring soil quality and adjusting fertilisation and watering schedules as needed

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards whilst working with tools and materials

What we’re looking for
