Job summary

Philux, Inc. seeks a skilled CAD drafter to translate designs into precise 2D and 3D drawings for production. Ideal candidates will have a design/engineering background with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Google Workspace, plus experience in furniture design or manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or vocational course in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Google Workspace tools.
• Experience in furniture design, woodworking, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong ability to create 2D and 3D models from sketches, photos, and design references.
• Knowledge of furniture construction, wood joints, materials, and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
• Able to identify design or production issues and propose practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills in managing multiple drawings and revisions.
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset.
