Job Description

• Design and planning:Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations on materials and designs, and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Construction:Cut, shape, and assemble wood to build new furniture, fixtures, and custom pieces.
• Repairs and restoration:Repair and restore existing furniture to restore its original condition.
• Tool operation:Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and lathes.
• Finishing:Sand, stain, and finish surfaces to achieve the desired look and durability.
• Quality control:Inspect finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Maintenance:Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all tools and equipment.
