Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an Analyst for the Finance Capital Management Team in Manila to support FTP strategies, forecasting, and CAAP. The role involves financial analyses and preparing materials for senior management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, experience with capital management concepts, and strong skills in analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. Collaboration with Finance Technology, Treasury, and business units is expected.

Qualifications

• A college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative field; MBA or CFA a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Finance
• Previous experience with Capital Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, or FTP concepts
• Familiarity with bank balance sheets and income statements
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite; Power BI and Copilot expertise a plus
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigative problem-solving and decision-making talents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute the on-going maintenance of FTP reporting and Forecasting
• Support the analysis and execution of Northern Trust’s capital adequacy activities
• Prepare presentations and complete documentation of related processes and results for various stakeholders
• Conduct a range of regular and ad hoc financial analyses with both internal and external data
• Support work between Finance Technology, Capital Adequacy, Treasury, and Business Units
