Qualifications

• Knowledge of OTC derivatives, valuation, cash flows, and collateral required.
• Understanding valuation impacts across asset classes (fixed income, equities, commodities).
• Experience with controlled processing in an operations environment with deadlines.
• Strong risk and controls mindset with ownership of issues end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to collaborate with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Finance.
• Strong time management and structured problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply derivatives and securities market knowledge to support accurate, controlled processing.
• Lead day-to-day team execution and quality oversight to support timely NAV delivery and client release.
• Process and validate derivatives trades and lifecycle events per client instructions.
• Book trades with complete valuation, cash flow, and collateral processing.
• Reconcile derivatives portfolios and investigate breaks, driving timely resolution.
• Perform first-level authorization and quality review per controls.
• Act as escalation point and respond to stakeholder queries promptly.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve exceptions efficiently.
• Perform root-cause analysis to increase straight-through processing and reduce inquiries.
• Manage operational risk by identifying, escalating, and resolving issues with end-to-end ownership.
• Partner with technology and strategy teams to support onboarding activity and enhancements.
