Job summary

As a core member, you will manage senior stakeholders, oversee accounting processes, ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and drive improvement across client service delivery in a hybrid Alabang-based setup with shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector (Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration)
• 8+ years supervisory experience in accounting teams
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Experience reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS consolidations
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
• Team player with client relationship management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with enterprise accounting systems; Investran desirable; Limited Partnership accounting; PE/real estate fund experience
• Amenable to hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite per week)
• Alabang office location and shifting schedules familiarity

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements and offering full service/product offering
• Leverage existing client relationships to secure new business and offer our products and services
• Facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients with VP and Executive Management
• Liaise internally with key functional teams to ensure awareness of client requirements
• Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
• Oversee resolution of complex client issues in partnership with Vice Presidents
• Emphasize escalation and complaints management within the team and department
• Manage, train and coach assigned Vice Presidents in running their teams
• Review departmental procedures and supervise VPs to ensure adherence
• Lead and initiate client conference calls
• Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure timely delivery
• Ensure continuous risk assessment of funds under administration
• Identify issues and propose company-wide solutions for high-risk projects
• Manage staffing requirements and work forecasting and allocation
• Report monthly on status and key development issues to external clients and executive management
• Participate in departmental and company-wide projects

About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Private Equity SPV team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Responsibilities

• Lead and initiate client conference calls
• Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration
• Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high risk projects
• Manage and oversee staffing requirements
• Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation
• Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team
• Actively participate in departmental and company-wide projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, any other professional accounting qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 8+ years.
• Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP
• Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
• Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
• Motivated, bright and diligent individuals who is driven to meet deadlines.
• A team player who can manage individual responsibilities.
• Good client/ business relationship management
• Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
• User experience with enterprise accounting system(s).
• Working knowledge of Investran is highly desirable
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting
• Private equity/real estate fund experience. Exposure to complex fund structure, waterfall computation, preferred return.
• Amenable to working in our Alabang Office (Filinvest 2 Bldg., Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa City).
• Amenable to working under Hybrid work arrangements (3 days' onsite per week)
• Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)
