This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Fund Operations team supporting MA’s Global Credit Solutions business. As a Fund Operations Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of BAU ‘Middle Office’ functions while contributing to strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform settlement functions across credit funds, ensuring operational controls are met

  • Support investment teams with trade support, portfolio positions, and cash balance queries

  • Assist in the preparation of intercreditor agreements and other fund documentation

  • Work on the implementation of a centralized data system and migration of credit funds to a new service provider

  • Draft operational controls, procedures, checklists, and templates as needed

  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships with investment teams, custodians, and fund administrators

  • Support the administration and setup of new funds

  • Participate in monthly SLA meetings with external service providers

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an investment operations or middle office role

  • Strong settlements experience and familiarity with key control processes

  • Understanding of multi-asset funds, particularly fixed interest or credit products

  • Experience with custodians and resolving settlement exceptions

  • Knowledge of the investment life cycle

  • Experience with WSO or fund accounting systems is an advantage

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Awareness of and adherence to risk management frameworks
