HedgeServ is seeking a Fund Accounting – Data Analyst to improve processes across the business units. The role involves learning the financial services and hedge fund industry and applying technology within it.

You will develop ETL solutions, automate reporting, and write Python scripts to streamline data workflows. Candidates should have 3+ years in fund accounting or finance data roles, strong Python/SQL skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related Data Analyst fields.
• Experience in Python and SQL.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets if possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes from diverse sources into accounting and reporting systems.
• Automate internal fund accounting and other operational processes.
• Create Python scripts for data automation and reporting.
• Transform legacy Excel processes into Python-based workflows.
• Build and maintain reconciliations between financial sources and datasets.
• Test the product in controlled environments before production deployment.
