Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related Data Analyst field required.
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, data analysis, or related finance role.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL or other coding languages; advanced Excel skills.
• Experience manipulating large datasets using Pandas and NumPy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes from diverse sources into accounting and reporting systems.
• Engage, improve, and automate internal Fund Accounting and other operational processes used by business teams.
• Leverage technologies through the development of Python scripts and other innovations.
• Automate key operational reports by converting legacy Excel-based processes into Python scripts.
• Apply new technologies to develop solutions to emerging problems while addressing current issues.
• Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications.
• Build and maintain reconciliations between financial sources and datasets.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing scripts.
• Test products in controlled environments before production deployment.
• Identify and rectify inefficiencies and at-risk processes in current systems with stakeholders.
• Take ownership of special projects and deliver them quickly.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and financial services.
