Job summary

YHM HOME BUILDERS & SUPPL CORP. in Silang, Cavite, is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our retail team. This full-time position focuses on delivering a seamless checkout experience, handling payments, and maintaining a positive interaction with customers.

You will operate POS systems, manage cash transactions, assist with basic stock tasks, and uphold store standards. Prior cashier or retail experience is preferred; weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
• Cashier experience is highly desirable.
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills for handling transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Reliability and punctuality; flexibility including weekends.
• Honesty, integrity and strong work ethic.
• Right to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently to process customer payments.
• Provide excellent customer service; greet customers and resolve checkout issues.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and reconcile cash drawers.
• Scan products and verify prices using barcode systems.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and returns per policy.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area at all times.
• Assist with basic stock management and product placement as required.
• Follow all company policies including health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth store operations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or discrepancies to management promptly.
