Job summary

Octal Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications across the full stack using PHP/Laravel for the back end and Vue.js/React.js for the front end, with deployment on Google Cloud Platform.

The candidate will be a true full-stack generalist, handling database design, RESTful APIs, and front-end development, while ensuring security and compliance in a healthcare-related context.

Qualifications

• Backend: PHP with Laravel framework.
• Frontend: Vue.js/React.js, HTML5, CSS3.
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CPanel.
• Database: MySQL
• Experience with RESTful API design and testing; Agile/Scrum nice to have.
• Familiarity with SDLC and secure data handling in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development using PHP/Laravel backend and VueJS/JavaScript frontend.
• Configure, deploy, and manage apps on GCP; CI/CD is optional but advantageous.
• Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL); write efficient SQL.
• Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs.
• Build reusable, responsive frontend components with Vue.js/React.js.
• Collaborate with product owners and other developers; ensure quality through testing.
• Handle projects like SLEC Website, Admin Dashboard, Referral Portal, Online Registration, Scheduling, and Payment.
• Apply security best practices and data privacy considerations (HIPAA/GDPR when relevant).
