Full Stack Web Developer (JM - 11232023 - PTWD)

Position: Web Developer

Number of hours: 10 hours/week

Schedule: PST

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss website design and function
• Design and build the website front-end
• Create the website architecture
• Manage the website back-end, including database and server integration
• Generate themes and plugins suitable for the client’s website
• Conduct website performance tests
• Troubleshoot common website issues and address concerns leading to downtime
• Monitor the performance of the live website
• Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Web Developer or relevant experience
• Knowledge in full stack web development, specifically using WordPress and Avada theme builder
• Top‑notch programming skills and in‑depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Proficiency in both desktop and mobile website development is required
• Top‑notch knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process
• Experience with hosting dashboards such as SiteGround, Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc. is a plus
• Solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices
• Can set up the clients’ personal and business website
• Hands‑on experience with network diagnostics, network analytical tools
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem‑solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
