Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• Strong full-stack web development experience with PHP, Laravel, React.js, Next.js.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with MySQL.
• Proficient with Git and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of security best practices and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD is a plus.
• Able to commute or relocate to Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications, database architectures, and API integrations.
• Manage the SDLC of 2–3 applications, including development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous enhancements.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for existing IT applications.
• Review peer code, follow secure coding principles, and optimize performance and debugging.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and manage tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to keep solutions scalable and secure.

Job Overview:

The Systems Developer designs, develops, and maintains robust software solutions aligned with business objectives, improves operational efficiency, and delivers exceptional user experiences. Operating within the Information Technology business unit and reporting to the IT/Digital Program and Project Delivery Manager, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multiple applications simultaneously, and maintaining system security and performance. Positioned at Udenna Tower, BGC, Taguig City, the role combines full-stack web application development with continuous delivery and infrastructure support.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development & Architecture: Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications, database architectures, and API integrations.




• SDLC & Application Management: Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of 2–3 applications, including development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous enhancements.




• System Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for existing IT applications and digital services.




• Code Review & Quality Assurance: Review peer code, adhere to secure coding principles, and optimize application performance and debugging processes.




• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project managers, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, manage task execution, and achieve project goals.




• Documentation & Technical Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation while sharing knowledge across the team.




• Technology Research: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to keep solutions scalable and secure.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.




• Core Technical Stack: Proven experience in Full Stack Web Application Development, with strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel Framework, React.js, and Next.js.




• Web Fundamentals: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end development practices.




• APIs & Databases: Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, third-party API integration, and strong knowledge of MySQL or relational database management systems.




• Tools & Methodologies: Proficient with Git version control and experienced working with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.




• Security & Testing: Familiarity with application security best practices, authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth), secure coding, and software testing frameworks.




• Desirable Experience: Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS), CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and the mobile development life cycle (including automated testing and building) is an advantage.




• Key Competencies: Demonstrates high standards in integrity, analytical skills, interpersonal relations, and communication/presentation skills.
