Job summary

Whitecloak is seeking a Web & Mobile Engineer to develop, test, and maintain high-performance frontend web applications and mobile modules. You will translate complex product and design requirements into interactive, responsive experiences within cross-functional Agile teams and alongside DevOps, supporting secure API integrations and data schemas across NoSQL and SQL databases.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience focusing on production-grade full stack software delivery.
• Hands-on development expertise in ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Experience implementing AuthN/AuthZ with JWT and OAuth 2.0; session token storage.
• Familiarity with DevOps and version control tools including Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, and AWS CodePipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance frontend applications and mobile modules using ReactJS, React Native, and NodeJS.
• Translate complex product and design requirements into highly interactive, responsive applications.
• Design, optimize, and manage data structures across MongoDB and SQL databases.
• Implement, document, and consume robust GraphQL and RESTful APIs bridging mobile and web with backend microservices.
• Secure API endpoints and client-server transitions with AuthN/AuthZ controls.
• Implement system authorization and authentication using JWT and OAuth 2.0 standards.
• Design, test, and document modular, reusable UI components for consistent aesthetics and maintainable code.
• Write clean, testable, optimized code and enforce quality standards.
• Perform advanced code debugging and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Coordinate with DevOps using Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Participate in Agile SDLC activities including brainstorming, sprint reviews, and daily standups to maintain shipping momentum.

Working within cross-functional Agile teams and alongside DevOps, the role supports production-grade full stack delivery by building secure API integrations, designing data schemas, implementing authentication/authorization, and ensuring code quality through testing, debugging, and peer reviews. Required Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience focusing on production-grade full stack software delivery
2. Hands-on, deep development expertise in ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL
3. In-depth knowledge of implementing AuthN and AuthZ standards, including JWT and OAuth 2.0 (and session token storage)
4. Practical familiarity with DevOps and version control tools including Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, and AWS CodePipeline
5. Familiarity with cloud hosting services and deployment pipelines on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
6. Deep comprehension of Agile software development lifecycle, scrum ceremonies, and SDLC best practices

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to debugging and verifying complex business requirements for feasibility and conformity
2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Filipino for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
3. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and/or collaborate effectively in highly synchronized engineering teams
4. Comfort multitasking and delivering results under pressure
