Job summary

ViewQwest Inc in Malolos, Bulacan is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Information Systems team. You will work across full-stack development, systems integration, and internal tooling, owning features end-to-end.

The role suits an engineer with a few years of hands-on experience who can work independently, occasionally guiding junior teammates and collaborating with product, QA, and other engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating third-party systems
• Practical experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for coding, debugging, or documentation
• Comfortable with Git and standard version control workflows, including branching and code review processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, QA, and other engineering teams
• Experience with AI-assisted IDEs like Cursor for codebase navigation and refactoring is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across front-end (React) and back-end (PHP/Laravel or similar) applications with minimal supervision
• Contribute to the design of internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows
• Implement and maintain APIs and third-party integrations (billing systems, ticketing, messaging, identity verification, etc.)
• Write clean, testable code and actively participate in code reviews
• Use AI coding assistants effectively as part of daily workflow, and share best practices with the team
• Debug and troubleshoot moderately complex issues across the stack, including with AI tools where appropriate
• Provide guidance and code review feedback to junior engineers
