We are looking for an Associate Full-Stack Engineer to join a team developing innovative, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on full-stack application development using Node.js, Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and emerging Generative AI technologies.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure Serverless Functions, Azure App Services, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, APIs, OpenAI/LLM technologies, chatbots, and web applications.
This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates based outside the Philippines with a 1-year project engagement and alignment to Manila business hours.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly:
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with APIs, web applications, and backend services.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with OpenAI, Generative AI/LLMs, and chatbot development.
- Experience with automation or scripting using Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience developing or integrating custom plugins, including Office plugins, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Scrum ceremonies, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Should have at least 2 years of direct experience in the following areas:
- Microsoft Azure, including Serverless Functions, App Services, and CI/CD
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- AI technologies, including OpenAI, Generative AI/LLMs, or chatbots
- Agile/Scrum ceremonies and practices
- Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-native full-stack applications using Node.js and related technologies.
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Azure Serverless Functions and Azure App Services.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and other application services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Integrate Azure OpenAI APIs and Generative AI/LLM technologies into business applications and intelligent solutions.
- Develop and enhance custom chatbots, Office plugins, and web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and project teams to deliver integrated frontend and backend solutions.
- Ensure applications meet requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Apply DevOps principles and Agile/Scrum practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Support automation and scripting using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
