Job summary

Altus Corp in the Philippines seeks a versatile Software Engineer to lead the development of our digital infrastructure. You will design, build, and deploy our official website, create an internal work management platform, and develop workshop productivity tools to optimize operations.

You will own the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering with other departments to testing, deployment, and documentation—delivering robust, scalable solutions for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer or similar development role.
• Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Solid back-end skills with Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with database design and management (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and hosting environments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and autonomous work style.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy the official website to ensure a seamless, responsive user experience.
• Architect and build a comprehensive internal work management software for company-wide communication and project tracking.
• Develop custom workshop productivity tools to optimize operations, inventory, and floor activities.
• Write clean, maintainable code across front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Test, debug, and resolve issues to maximize uptime and performance.
• Create clear technical documentation for all custom-built systems.
