Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using Laravel, Livewire, AlpineJS, and TailwindCSS.
• Own and manage backend systems, including API design, database structure, and system integrations.
• Formulate technical solutions to address system issues, improve performance, and support new product requirements.
• Oversee deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and maintain code quality through best practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and business teams) to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs, particularly for payment, authentication, and analytics services.
• Ensure security and compliance across all systems, including data protection, input validation, and environment configuration.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing feedback and promoting best coding practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system architecture and development workflows for scalability and efficiency.
• Manage technical documentation for project handovers, deployments, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Strong experience with Laravel framework and PHP-based backend development.
• Proficient in Livewire, AlpineJS, and TailwindCSS for frontend implementation.
• Skilled in MySQL or PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and migration management.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, system security, and error handling.
