Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using Laravel, Livewire, AlpineJS, and TailwindCSS.
- Own and manage backend systems, including API design, database structure, and system integrations.
- Formulate technical solutions to address system issues, improve performance, and support new product requirements.
- Oversee deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and maintain code quality through best practices and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and business teams) to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs, particularly for payment, authentication, and analytics services.
- Ensure security and compliance across all systems, including data protection, input validation, and environment configuration.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing feedback and promoting best coding practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve system architecture and development workflows for scalability and efficiency.
- Manage technical documentation for project handovers, deployments, and integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development
- Strong experience with Laravel framework and PHP-based backend development
- Proficient in Livewire, AlpineJS, and TailwindCSS for frontend implementation
- Skilled in MySQL or PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and migration management
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, system security, and error handling
- Familiarity with server management, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment environments (e.g., Laravel Forge, VPS, AWS, DigitalOcean)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently and in team environments
