Job summary

Designblue Philippines, Inc is hiring a frontend developer who will build client websites end-to-end—from Nuxt/Vue frontends to Laravel-backed APIs and CMS modules. You’ll deploy to AWS and maintain live sites, with code review and teamwork as core parts of the role.

You’ll work four days weekly from Salcedo Village, Manila, and Fridays from home. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on web development, strong Vue 3/Nuxt skills, Laravel experience, MySQL proficiency, and solid Linux/Nginx

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of web development experience with shipped work.
• Practical Vue 3 experience, Nuxt, and SSR understanding.
• Laravel/PHP experience covering routes, controllers and APIs.
• MySQL design, joins, and query investigation.
• Tailwind CSS and responsive HTML/CSS fundamentals.
• Hands-on AWS EC2/Lightsail deployment experience.
• Linux via SSH, Nginx, domains, HTTPS, and env settings.
• Git, PRs, testing, and pre-release checks.
• Willing to work from Salcedo Village four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive client pages in Nuxt and Vue with Tailwind from designs.
• Create CMS modules and Laravel APIs with models, migrations, and auth.
• Connect frontends to CMS and APIs with proper loading and error states.
• Deploy and maintain sites on AWS EC2 or Lightsail per deployment process.
• Handle routine Linux/web-server tasks, domains, and certificates.
• Maintain backups, enable recoveries, and prepare rollbacks for live sites.
• Investigate logs, resolve routine issues, escalate major incidents.
• Work in Git branches, open PRs, and document changes.
• Test across devices, ensure accessibility, and verify fixes on live site.
