Job summary

Cooee Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to build and maintain a cloud-based management portal and application.

You will work across the stack, from frontend to databases and AWS infrastructure, delivering secure, scalable software on onsite teams in Makati and Iloilo. The role requires at least 2 years of web development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, NestJS/Node.js, REST APIs, and SQL.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with React or a similar frontend framework.
• Experience building backend applications using NestJS, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features across the platform.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.
• Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize relational databases, SQL queries, and data migrations.
• Maintain integrations with AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Support and improve Docker-based deployments and application infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, database, and production issues.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, validation, and access controls.
• Ensure backend services enforce security and business rules.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
• Review existing code to improve performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and development standards.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
