Personio is hiring a Full-Stack PHP Developer to build backend-led product capabilities for a global travel platform. You will work across the stack, focusing on PHP/Laravel, integrations, data, and reliable backend delivery.

You will develop and maintain PHP/Laravel services and React interfaces, design RESTful APIs, manage databases, and contribute to automated tests, code reviews, and high-availability SaaS delivery in a hybrid, international environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial PHP experience.
• Laravel for 3+ years in commercial projects.
• 3+ years of React experience delivering production frontend features.
• Experience with relational databases, production REST APIs, and secure web development.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban) with active participation in sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Ability to explain technologies and contributions from recent projects.
• Ability to work in a team and independently own substantial work in high-availability SaaS products.
• Clear communication of technical choices to engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Your profile

• You have at least 6 years of commercial PHP experience, clearly demonstrated in your recent work.
• You have worked with Laravel continuously for the past 3 years in commercial projects.
• You have 3+ years of extensive, hands-on React experience delivering production frontend features. Backend development remains your main strength.
• You have practical experience with relational databases, production REST APIs, and secure web-development practices.
• You have worked in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban) and actively take part in sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• You write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and take responsibility for the quality and reliability of what you ship.
• You can explain the technologies you have used in production and the specific contribution you made to recent projects.
• You work effectively in a team and can independently own substantial work in high-availability SaaS products.
• You communicate technical choices clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
• You are autonomous, self-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic, technically complex international environment.
