Job summary

HS Financial Technologies in the Philippines is seeking an AI-focused Full Stack Developer to design and build end-to-end applications that use generative AI models and agentic architectures. You will balance hands-on development with high-level design decisions to deliver production-ready solutions.

You will work with product owners to translate insights into product improvements, develop both frontend and backend features, and ensure code quality, testing, and deployment with CI/CD and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• At least four years delivering production applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and architecture.
• Experience with Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend JS frameworks, especially Angular.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and large datasets.
• Experience with tests (unit/integration/acceptance) and CI/CD.

The AI Engineering team develops secure, reliable, and reusable artificial intelligence capabilities for HS Financial Technologies business and technology platforms. The team works across application development, cloud engineering, automation, integration, security, data, and operational teams to move AI solutions from experimentation into controlled production use.

Our focus is on building enterprise AI systems that integrate with existing workflows, data, and platforms rather than operating as isolated tools. We emphasize measurable business outcomes, production engineering discipline, responsible AI practices, strong security controls, human oversight, and evidence-based evaluation.

About the Role

We are seeking an AI-focused Full Stack Developer to design and build end-to-end applications that use generative AI models and agentic architectures to solve real-world business challenges across multiple domains.

The successful candidate has experience building, deploying, and supporting production applications and can balance hands-on development with high-level design decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Design AI-powered workflows and efficient data models that address real business challenges.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to embed AI capabilities into existing business applications.
• Identify and implement innovative uses of AI that reduce friction across business processes.
• Partner closely with product owners and end users to translate insights quickly into product improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering teams.
• Improve the reliability, observability, scalability, and performance of the systems and workflows you build.
• Develop and maintain code that meets established quality, testing, and development standards.
• Develop both frontend and backend features.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least four years of experience building and delivering production applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns, programming concepts, and application architecture.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including frequent and regular production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including experience handling large datasets.
• Experience writing tests (unit, integration, and acceptance testing).
• Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment, using tools such as Jira and Git, and working with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with microservices architectures and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with session and cache management.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards, including OAuth and JWT.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and Agent Communication Protocol (ACP).
