Job summary

Aurecon Australasia Pty Ltd in Australia seeks a skilled Full Stack Developer to join the NSW/ACT Transport Group. You will independently develop, maintain, and enhance digital tools and automations supporting our service group.

The role focuses on upkeeping existing GUGE/Transport web applications and plugins, building new digital solutions with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Docker, and Azure Container Apps, ensuring scalable deployments and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Azure, Container Apps, Flask.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python for full stack development.
• Experience with Docker and deploying to Azure Container Apps in enterprise IT.
• Proficient in Git version control; experience with GitLab or GitHub in multi-developer environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure including Azure Table Storage (NoSQL) and Flask-based backends.
• Ability to conduct and participate in code reviews and mentor others.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement; documentation and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Independently build, maintain, and enhance digital tools and automations to support the team and wider group.
• Contribute to new digital solutions aligning with automation and efficiency goals.
• Apply strong skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Docker for full stack apps.
• Ensure smooth deployment via Azure Container Apps and maintain secure cloud-hosted apps.
• Collaborate through code reviews and promote clean, maintainable code.
