Job summary

Tamasha is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale web and backend applications using Node.js, React.js, and Java or Python. You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to CI/CD, and help improve system performance for 1M+ users.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Data teams, participate in code reviews, and ship high-quality features across a multi-app ecosystem in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

Application Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web and backend applications using Node.js, React.js, and Java or Python
• Develop reusable, well-tested frontend components and robust backend services and APIs
• Own features end-to-end — from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment

Architecture & Systems

• Design efficient, scalable system architecture for high-traffic consumer applications
• Build and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and integrations across apps
• Optimise application performance, latency, and reliability at scale (1M+ users)

Collaboration & Quality

• Partner closely with Product, Design, and QA to ship high-quality features fast
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering best practices
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code (unit and integration tests)

Ownership & Reliability

• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues across the stack
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure improvements
• Continuously evaluate and improve system scalability, security, and maintainability

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• 3-5 years of full stack development experience building and shipping production applications
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js
• Proficiency in at least one backend language — Java or Python
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), REST APIs, and system design fundamentals
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Proven experience building products for consumer apps with large user bases (1M+ users preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for shipping fast and iterating
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with real-time systems (WebSockets) — relevant for live entertainment and gaming
• Exposure to analytics/CRM tools such as Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or CleverTap
• Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A-C stage)
• Exposure to creator economy, social networking, or live-gaming platforms
