Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Backend Developer to lead the end-to-end web development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-quality software applications. You will work across frontend and backend technologies to deliver scalable APIs and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities include design, development, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization, with active participation in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• UI: HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge across frameworks.
• Backend: proficiency in C#, Java or Python and JS frameworks (Angular/React/Node.js).
• Databases: MySQL and MongoDB experience; familiarity with web servers.
• Understanding of containerization, CI/CD and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality web applications via frontend and backend tech.
• Collaborate with product managers, SMEs and UX designers to translate requirements into features.
• Write clean, scalable code to produce APIs and interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are met.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Optimize performance and scalability through code and DB tuning.
• Participate in agile practices including sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and report accordingly.
