Job summary

Cimpress is seeking a Frontend Developer (PR1 Level) to build a fast, responsive e-commerce website. You will create reusable UI components, integrate APIs, and ensure cross-browser compatibility while collaborating with UX, backend, and QA teams.

We value strong HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or React.js), plus experience with build tools like Webpack and Git. Remote-friendly globally, with a focus on high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals including DOM, events, and debugging.
• Experience with jQuery and Ajax.
• Awareness of cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, npm).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Understanding of semantic HTML and accessibility best practices.
• Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly frontend development.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable code.
• Basic to good understanding of TypeScript.
• Experience with browser dev tools for debugging and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, page speed, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching.
• Knowledge of component-based frontend development.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively for frontend development, debugging, documentation, productivity, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of design-to-code workflows and collaboration with UI/UX teams.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or React.js.
• Nice-to-have: experience using AI-assisted development tools.

About the Role

Build and enhance a responsive, high-performance e-commerce website. The role involves developing reusable user-interface components, integrating APIs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, optimizing page performance, and collaborating with UX, backend, and QA teams.

Front-end web development with strong hands-on expertise in

HTML5 , CSS3 , SCSS , JavaScript , jQuery , AJAX , responsive design , cross-browser compatibility , and web performance optimization . Working knowledge of Vue.js or Nuxt.js is desirable.
