Job summary

Primover Consultancy Services, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Front-End BI Developer to enhance existing reports and to design, build, and implement ETL data pipelines. You will work with SAP BOBJ (WebI, Universe/IDT) and Power BI, performing data modeling, SQL scripting, and data visualization.

The role requires translating business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with business users and analysts, and supporting UAT, deployment, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience with SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universe/IDT) and Power BI reporting.
• Strong SQL scripting and data visualization skills; ability to model data efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Enhance client reports and design, build, and implement ETL data pipelines.
• Analyze data requirements, validate data, reconcile results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Gather and analyze reporting requirements, business rules, and technical specs.
• Coordinate with business users, analysts, and client O&M teams.

About the role

The Front-End BI Developer will help in the enhancement of the client's existing reports. You will design, build, and implement extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• The Front-End BI Developer will help in the enhancement of the client’s existing reports. shall design, build, and implement extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines.

• Key duties include data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. Implementation of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.

• Gather and analyze reporting requirements, business rules, calculations, and technical specifications.

• Coordinating with business users, Business Analysts, and client O&M teams.

• Documenting report specifications, formulas, and data mappings.

• Participate in UAT support, deployment, and production issue resolution.

• Manage multiple report development activities and deliverables concurrently.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universe/IDT) and Power BI report and dashboard development.

• Proficient in Power BI Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization.

• Strong SQL scripting and database querying skills.

• With basic knowledge of SQL scripting.

• With technical writing for documentation.

• Able to write summaries.

• With knowledge on Systems Development Life Cycle SLDC.

• Able to translate business requirements into a technical one.

• Able to discuss technical issues and related inquiries to business users in laymans terms.
