Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will deliver exceptional service with expertise, empathy, and a drive to succeed. You will conduct high-volume reviews of credit card applications, verify IDs, investigate fraud claims, and perform verification via phone, balancing security with a great customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with the Fraud Strategy team to refine models and payment holds, and you must be comfortable with shifting schedules, including weekends if required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Fraud Operations, KYC, or identity verification in a FinTech or credit card issuer environment.
• Experience using fraud prevention tools such as Sardine, Socure, Plaid, or Sentilink is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays, if required.

Responsibilities

• Manual Application Review: Conduct high-volume reviews of credit card applications, scrutinizing government-issued IDs and utility bills to detect sophisticated forgeries or inconsistencies.
• Identity Verification (IDV): Utilize internal and third-party tools to validate applicant data and mitigate synthetic identity risk.
• Fraud Claims Management: Investigate Identity Theft claims by reviewing supporting documentation and determining the legitimacy of the dispute.
• Inbound/Outbound Verification: Transition into a live agent role to perform first-party and third-party fraud verifications via phone, balancing a high-quality customer experience with rigorous security protocols.
• Feedback Loop: Partner with the Fraud Strategy team to provide insights that help refine our automated fraud models and payment hold strategies.
