Job summary

BlackLine is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to own and enhance global forecasting models, integrating ERP data and AI-enabled tools. You will build robust ROI analyses and automate workflows in a remote, asynchronous setting for cross-functional partners.

You will translate SaaS metrics into forecasting logic, supporting budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic financial decision-making with high data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of FP&A, valuations, transaction advisory, or structured finance experience with multi-statement models.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data models and complex formulas.
• Deep understanding of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow mechanics and SaaS transactions.
• Strong grasp of SaaS metrics and revenue recognition in accounting systems.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and structurally improve the global Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting models with high-precision data integration with Accounting.
• Build and pressure-test ROI models and sensitivity analysis for capital allocation scenarios and cross-functional projects.
• Integrate AI-driven forecasting tools and automate data workflows within FP&A models to maximise reporting speed, data integrity, and depth.
• Develop, audit, and scale complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from ERPs and data warehouses to construct monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc packages.
• Develop and calculate KPIs to measure business performance with automated, repeatable data delivery.
• Provide analytical support and deliver structured financial models to business partners to power strategic initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• •Build and pressure-test robust ROI models and sensitivity analysis to evaluate capital allocation scenarios and cross-functional projects.
• •Integrate AI-driven forecasting tools and build automated data workflows within FP&A models to maximize reporting speed, data integrity, and analytical depth.
• •Develop, audit, and scale complex financial models (covering large datasets, databases, and spreadsheets) to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• •Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from ERPs and data warehouses to construct comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial packages.
• •Develop and systematically calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance, ensuring automated and repeatable data delivery.
• •Provide analytical support and deliver structured financial models to business partners to power strategic initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• •3–6 years of experience in corporate FP&A, valuations, transaction advisory, or structured finance, with a proven track record of constructing and maintaining complex, multi-statement financial models.
• •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (e.g., large data models, complex formulas, etc).
• •Deep technical mastery of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement mechanics, with the ability to translate complex SaaS transactions (deferred revenue, billings, ARR schedules) into dynamic, automated forecasting logic.
• •Strong understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition, and key SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC) and how they flow through accounting systems.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• •Self-motivated and capable of working independently in an asynchronous, remote structure, with a strong focus on cleanly documenting models and data sources.
• •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
