Job summary

J&F Foods in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the annual budget and forecast process for Delivery & Supply Chain, validating assumptions with relevant teams.

The role analyzes D&SC costs, prepares monthly scorecards, performs variance analyses, and supports financial closing and policy development, driving cost savings and efficiency across inventory and logistics.

Qualifications

• Supports the annual budget and forecast process by validating Delivery & Supply Chain (D&SC), logistics, sales volume, and pricing assumptions with relevant teams.
• Analyzes D&SC costs and identifies opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and additional income generation.
• Prepares and presents monthly performance scorecards covering key metrics such as sales, freight, storage costs, inventory accuracy, fill rate, and DIO, with recommendations for improvement.
• Conducts variance analyses on delivery, supply chain, and inventory costs against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance, providing actionable insights.
• Generates and reports sales performance updates and forecasts to support management decision-making.
• Prepares monthly Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analyses to evaluate sales performance and business trends.
• Reconciles inventory accounts and investigates variances between system records and physical inventory counts; supports cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Reviews inventory disposals, write-offs, and consignment account balances, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance.
• Evaluates financial impact of supply chain and inventory projects and recommends efficiency-improving solutions.
• Monitors and supports the use of BI and inventory management systems, coordinating with IT for enhancements and issue resolution.
• Assists in monthly financial closing activities by providing analyses and commentaries related to delivery and supply chain costs.
• Supports development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls related to inventory and supply chain management.
• Participates in meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
