Job summary

Meritt is seeking a Founding Solutions Engineer to build the technical front line of Europe’s application development. This remote role focuses on enhancing accessibility software and requires strong collaboration with development teams in France and South EMEA.

Located remotely, the candidate will enjoy a base salary of approximately €120K plus a variable component of €20K-€30K. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience and are fluent in French and English.

• Partner with the first Regional Sales Director in France

This is early-stage regional build with real autonomy.

The Technical Edge

This is not surface-level SaaS.

You’ll work with:

• Modern front-end stacks (React, Node, Angular)
• CI/CD environments
• Test automation frameworks (Cypress, WebDriverIO, Puppeteer)
• SDLC optimisation
• AI-enabled tooling
• Developer-first workflows

The platform actively identifies accessibility issues at code level and helps teams fix them in real time.

You’ll be speaking to engineers who care deeply about the integrity of what they ship.

And you’ll need their trust.

What You Will Actually Be Doing

• Join after business qualification to run technical discovery
• Deliver tailored demos to development teams
• Define and drive PoC success criteria
• Manage 2–4 week validation cycles
• Meet weekly during PoCs to ensure technical adoption
• Support both direct enterprise deals and partner-led opportunities
• Assist with onboarding and early implementation
• Influence upsell and expansion through technical credibility
• Act as the regional technical face of the business

Expect to support ~15–20 active deals at various stages.

You’ll need discipline, prioritisation, and commercial awareness.

What Success Looks Like?

First 3 Months

• Confidently delivering technical demos
• Supporting active PoCs
• Building credibility with AEs and partners
• Immersed in the product and workflows

By Month 6

• Independently running complex PoCs
• Increasing technical win rates
• Trusted advisor to enterprise dev teams
• Contributing to partner enablement strategy

End of Year 1

• Embedded as the technical authority in-region
• Supporting €2M+ influenced revenue
• Helping scale the SE function as the region grows

What You Bring To The Team

• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer)
• Modern front-end development experience
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Hands‑on exposure to test automation frameworks
• Experience engaging directly with developers
• Comfort in PoC‑led, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales
• Native‑level French + strong English

You understand SDLC.

You can speak both “developer” and “commercial”.

You’re comfortable explaining technical trade‑offs clearly.
